Abortion

Abortion is a very sensitive and highly controversial subject. It is not our intention to place a right or a wrong on the abortion issue but to bring to light how abortion is viewed by high spirits in the spirit world.

A spirit discusses judgement and "right" versus "wrong"...

My dear brother, I want you to consider one very important factor in considering any answer, and that is that the right and the wrong of another person's actions, and how these are weighed with the justice and absolute fairness of the laws of the universe, that there is no man or woman who may assert what is right or wrong for anyone. There is a great temptation, when one asks such a question, to assume there is one answer. And I will ask you to consider that in the conception of a child by a man and a woman, regardless of circumstances, that there are laws at work on a higher plane than what man may understand. But when the soul does incarnate, which is a variable but is most certain to happen by the 5th month, the soul then takes its place among the many in the universe that are overseen by caring and loving spirits. In this, these spirits equally favor mother and child. These spirits love them both and equally. And God will forgive those who, through their acts, refuse to take responsibility for the actions and results of their actions. We encourage all to accept the reality of the laws and to never turn your back on your fellow man and woman; never once give them the thought that they will be eternally damned.

A spirit discusses his findings on what happens to babies that come into the spirit world as a result of abortion...

In my investigation of the subject of babies who come to the spirit world as a result of abortion, I do not find that they ever go back to their earth mothers for any purpose whatever. There are spirits who are specially designated to take care of babies. In cases where the natural mothers have succeeded in cutting short the lives of these babies, these spirits who have charge of these babies in the spirit world never permit them to come in contact with their unnatural mothers or visit them. This is because the mother's love is not there to receive these poor little waifs. And where there is no mother's love, there is no attraction existing that will cause the return of the babies when they have once left their mothers.

But in the case of babies who prematurely die, or of those who die very young, these babies do return to their mothers, under the guidance of their guardian spirits, and receive from their mothers their love and feelings which are going forth to these babies.

The Law of Attraction operates here as well as in other matters, and this is the law in reference to babies who die early: When there is existing a mother's love, the baby will return and receive this love and help from coming in contact with such mother. But when there is no mother's love, there is no attraction, and the baby may never know its mother.

In many cases, the baby, before the mother comes to the spirit world, finds other attractions. Hence, there is no feeling of love or sympathy between the baby and its mother.

When the mother comes into the spirit world, it frequently happens that she finds the spirit of the unborn baby and, in a way, has a uniting. But rarely is this love strong enough to keep them together. The Law of Attraction operates then and each go their own way.
